• A large water generated power house is in Supaul, the electricity produced from this power house is shared with India and Nepal.
• The Koshi river separates it into two parts, The Koshi effect Supaul in both ways constructive and Destructive. If we talk in a constructive way it has a large impact on electricity and agriculture. Same if we talk about its disadvantage, due to the Koshi definitely flooding occurs on 75% of its land once in every year.
• Supaul is the most crime-less district in Bihar and one of the cleanest districts in whole India because in previous years Supaul was awarded as first prize in the Swachh Bharat mission.
• The local language of Supaul is Maithili but maximum people know Hindi as well as English Bhojpuri, Maghi, Urdu, Angika etc.
